time flys.

10 weeks.

this is him being Quinn's baby doll

Wow it's been awhile.  Life with an 11 week old is crazy.  We are falling into a semi routine now though and life is getting a lot better.  I am getting over the shock of being a new mommy and accepting that life will never be the same.  Each new day I am falling even more in love with him and he he growing like crazy! At his last 2 month apt.  he weighed in @ 11 11 and 24 1/2 inches long.  He is now up to eating about 6 ounce almost every meal and he could eat more if we let him.  Just imagine how much he will eat when he's a teenager!! AHHHH.  I better get a job.  He is now rolling over from his belly to back back a lot and now especially in bed and then he will cry because he doesn't know what he just did and he wants to be back on his belly.  Last week he also started sucking his thumb while laying down.  He does it sometimes while being held but he hasn't figured out how to get it in his mouth as easy.  His new love is his bumbo and he will sit in that and just look around and it is a life saver!  He is getting so strong and I would not be surprised if he started crawling sooner than later.  You will put him at one end of his bed and by the morning he is jammed up in the complete opposite side.  We had to go buy a mesh bumper so I wouldn't have to keep waking up every couple hours to move him back to the middle.
We just shot our second wedding of the season this past weekend and it has been a challenge to get all the post production work done and out of the way like I once did.  I now have to have a better schedule and I can really  only do it when he's sleeping..  but needless to say it has been fun getting back into photography again and Adam and I have completely enjoyed having something we can go do together.
Last week I got back from my dad's retirement down in Jacksonville and it was so much fun and some good times with the family.  Josiah got to meet his cousins for the first time and Quinn adored him and it was adorable to watch her loving on him. She treated him like a doll and it was so cute.  We were also there over Asher's birthday which we had figured out we hadn't all been together for since she was 17!!! That is one year shy from being a decade... man where does the time go?!  We ended up going to a great italian place with live karaoke music which was so bad all you could do was join in and laugh.  Maybe I could get a job there?!
Well I am sure my son will be getting up anytime soon.  He has been a WONDERFUL sleeper (expect for the week I was without adam in jacksonville, of course)  and I cannot complain.   I am holding my breath hoping it wont end.  He will typically do a 12-13 hour stretch a night!  Hallelujah.
