good times.

Oh, how time flies by.  I ran across this image on a CD I had stashed away in my closet. This was shortly after we met and he came to visit me down in Asheville. How young do we look?!

 Yesterday turned out to be "Allies purge day"  It was so wonderful, difficult, freeing and just plain good.  I started going through my 4 tubs of clothing that I cannot wear anymore.  I have been holding onto a lot of it the past three years in hopes of me eventually getting into them.  I have come to a point in my journey where I feel like I need to stay healthy but  I am also trying to accept where Im at and stop waiting on when I can get into my skinny jeans.  It felt so good to purge all the stuff I know I will never get back into and that then led into me taking my closet apart at midnight and cleaned it out like it was my job and all my junk didn't have a chance.  I am learning how to look past n the past with fondness but not to live in the past.  A hard lesson to learn sometimes.  But God is good and he is walking through this with us and being a lamp unto our feet.
