Josiah's First Birthday!

if you cant tell his color for the party was RED.  I love it and so I went all out on the balloons (not all shown..ekk)

pimping your cupcake was on the menu as wells as"homemade" lemonade.. 

we also had regular popcorn, chocolate covered popcorn, hot dogs and cookies.. yes please.

aren't these popcorn holders SO cute?  Adam and I had a big discussion if this and the hot dog holders were a good use of our money.  I made sure he knew it was.  How else would we hold out hot dogs?!

I also put brown paper on a table out back with crayons for the kids to draw on.. it mostly ended up with a ton of icing.

So Josiah is weird with food.  He is not always a big fan and he had never had any kind of sugar so I wasnt sure how he would fare..  I ended up having to shove a little on his face to get a good picture.. he kinda cared about it but not really.. lets just say there was no fuss when it was taken away.

he liked the candle A WHOLE lot more.

Here are just a few images of the day. It was so fun and I cannot believe it is now past..  The weather was nice and sunny but was definitely too windy, but I was bound and determined to have it outside!!  Our little guy had pink eye that day and was breaking in a tooth!  What a poor thing.  AND it looks like his pink eye has come back!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!  I hate seeing anything wrong with him and I know I need to get over it because this is only the beginning.
